"MDA in Houston probably treats more MTC patients than anyplace in the world. They deal with MTC patients every week, and therefore probably have a stronger knowledge base than any other place. I see Dr. Mimi Hu and I find her to be empathetic, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with. "

"Whereas I would’ve given a “5” in the early years of my care at MDA, I had to discontinue when A.) Radiology dept didn’t offer any assistance in fighting with BCBS when they denied me coverage for therapy, complicated by B.) increasing difficulty with scheduling when I explained multiple times that I could only be there on Thursdays & Fridays (staying through weekend if needed), but I could NOT take off work for appointments Mon - Wed "

"They have all the latest information regarding this disease. I’ve never felt like a number. They take time to listen and work with each patient."

"MD Anderson is an amazing place. I went there because I had heard they were experts in MTC. My endocrinologist and surgeon were amazingly knowledgeable. The facility is easy to navigate, and everyone is friendly. I recommend MD Anderson to anyone I meet who's looking for expert care. "
